Rent an Instrument

Renting is the best way to venture into playing a string instrument, especially for a child who is still growing or an adult who isn’t sure the violin will be a long term hobby. Low price violins and cellos are often poorly set up which increases bad technique and can be a nightmare to tune and play. Making a “cheap” instrument playable can cost hundreds of dollars!

Renting from us means:

You get a well made instrument
You’re free to switch sizes any time as your child grows
If you decide you’d like to own your instrument we offer six months of rental payments as a credit towards its purchase.

Pricing:

Violin: $25 per month
Viola: $35 per month
Cello: $50 per month

A one-month discount applies when paying for a six-month semester upfront.

I will pay a six month installment by e-transfer and get six months for the price of five. Violin: $125+tax, Cello: $250+tax

I will pay monthly by credit card. Violin: $25+tax, Cello: $50+tax

Terms and Conditions:

The renter is responsible for the instrument for the duration of the rental. Rent is due on the first of each month. If the instrument is not returned at the end of the agreed upon rental period, rent is owing until the instrument is returned. All renters must provide credit card information and the card will continue to be charged monthly until the instrument is returned. Full conditions of the rental will be available after this form is submitted and you will be asked to sign a hard copy when you collect your instrument.
